The Chicago Bears are trending in the right direction.
Chicago has been busy this offseason upgrading the roster after bringing Ben Johnson to town to be the team’s new head coach. The Bears still have plenty of time left and there surely will be more moves made as we approach training camp and eventually cut-down day.
Who could be an option to be on the move for the Bears? Bleacher Report’s Gary Davenport suggested defensive tackle Andrew Billings as a potential option to be moved.

The problem is that with Jarrett in Chicago and promising youngster Gervon Dexter also on the roster, the role moving forward for veteran nose tackle Andrew Billings is unclear. The 30-year-old has missed significant time in three of the past five seasons—including nine games a year ago with a torn pectoral muscle. But when healthy, Billings is a capable lane-clogger, and he could net a Day 3 pick from another club this summer—especially if a team suffers an injury along the interior of the defensive line.”
Billings is a seven-year NFL veteran and has two years of experience under his belt with the Bears. Last year, he had one sack and 13 total tackles while appearing in eight games for the Bears.
