The Cleveland Browns’ offense has a lot to prove in 2025. For starters, no one knows who their starting quarterback will be. It will come down to the four signal-callers who have been competing for the starting job – Kenny Pickett, Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabirel, and Shedeur Sanders.
With that said, the ceiling for each quarterback feels very low due to their lack of top pass-catchers. How bad is the Browns’ room of receivers? PFF ranked Cleveland as having the worst receiving corps in the NFL.
“The Browns’ team-wide 65.3 PFF receiving grade last season ranked second worst in the NFL, and they did little to fix that heading into 2025,” Trevor Sikkema writes. “Jerry Jeudy led the way with a 74.9 PFF receiving grade, and tight end David Njoku added a passable 65.3 mark. Cedric Tillman and Jamari Thrash will have to really step up, and perhaps rookie running backs Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson can help from the backfield, too.”
A name that Sikkema left out was Diontae Johnson, who could play a big role in the pass game. He will be looking to get his once-promising career back on track in Cleveland in a very thin room. Will he and Jeudy be enough to get the job done and help the Browns over-achieve? Time will tell.
